about

I recently completed my Masters in Computer Science at Arizona State University. My research focused on designing biologically inspired machine learning systems that minimize harmful interactions between a robot and its environment. I was a research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Heni Ben Amor at Arizona State University's Interactive Robotics Lab.

Techniques that I employ in my research involve deep learning, more specifically, spatio-temporal feature learning using custom built convolutional LSTM neural networks, self-supervised labeling and uncertainty analysis using Monte-Carlo dropout, and deep reinforcement learning using variants of policy gradient methods. Current systems that I have built have been tested in simulation.

I am interested in all aspects of machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and robotics. Check out my cv and send me an email if you would like to reach out to me.
